He also developed the Georgia Trail of Tears National Historic Trail brochure. He has a Master's degree in public history and certification in Museum Studies from the University of West Georgia and currently serves on the Friends of New Echota board of directors. He was recently appointed by the governor to serve on the Georgia Historical Records Advisory Council.
