His works have been published in the U.S., Russia, England, Spain, Costa Rica, Serbia, Bulgaria, India, and Morocco. His textbook \u003ci\u003ePrinciples of Intercultural Communication \u003c\/i\u003ehas been adopted by over 30 colleges and universities in the U.S. His monograph \u003ci\u003eA Communication Universe: Manifestations of Meaning, Stagings of Significance \u003c\/i\u003ewon the 2012 NCA Philosophy of Communication Division Distinguished Book Award. He is also the translator and editor of Mikhail Epstein's book \u003ci\u003eThe Transformative Humanities: A Manifesto. \u003c\/i\u003eHe served as an associate editor of \u003ci\u003eThe American Journal of Semiotics\u003c\/i\u003e and is the founding editor of \u003ci\u003eRussian Journal of Communication\u003c\/i\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGalina V.
