Before joining the public school system, he served as an instructor and counselor in the Office of Multicultural Affairs at Madonna University. He is a graduate of Teachers College of Columbia University, University of Michigan-Dearborn and Madonna University. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
