He's a biologist and writer of children's literature. More than 50 of his books are published and translated into 16 languages. Aliaga has won 8 literary awards, among which are the International Latino Book Awards he won in 2014 with \u003ci\u003eDorothy\u003c\/i\u003e (Cuento de luz, 2014) and in 2016 with \u003ci\u003eThe Little Golden Key\u003c\/i\u003e (Cuento de luz, 2016).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eMar Blanco\u003c\/b\u003e is a freelance illustrator based in Madrid, Spain. In 2010 she finished her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in Valencia and moved to Madrid to study Artistic Direction. During her short professional trajectory she has worked with children's publishers (\u003ci\u003eDorothy - a different kind of friend\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eIgnacio's Laugh\u003c\/i\u003e by Cuento de Luz) as well as for publishers of fiction literature.
