He is the author of \u003ci\u003eDeveloping Cultural Industries: Learning from the Palimpsest of Practice\u003c\/i\u003e (2015), and the editor of \u003ci\u003eCulture, Globalization, and Development: The UNESCO Convention on Cultural Diversity\u003c\/i\u003e (2015, with Miikka Pyykkönen and JP Singh) as well as \u003ci\u003eCultural Policies for Sustainable Development\u003c\/i\u003e (2018, with Anita Kangas and Nancy Duxbury). \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eKim-Marie Spence\u003c\/strong\u003e is a PhD scholar at the Australian National University. She has done significant research comparing the popular culture industries of Jamaica, India, and South Korea, that is, reggae, Bollywood, K-pop, and K-drama.
