Noureddine has researched using light to detect early signs of disease including cancers. A native of Algeria, Noureddine received his Dipl?me d'?tudes Sup?rieures in Physics from the \u003cem\u003eUniversit? des sciences et de la technologie Houari-Boumediene\u003c\/em\u003e, Algeria, and his M.Sc. and D.Phil., both in Physics, from the University of Sussex, England. He lives in Massachusetts. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMichelle Simpson\u003c\/strong\u003e is a full-time freelance illustrator, focusing mainly on children's books.
