His most recent work focuses on the narrative of Samuel Beckett and his reception in Spain: \u003ci\u003eSamuel Beckett en España\u003c\/i\u003e (University of Valladolid, 2020). He has co-edited (with Nadia Louar) vol. 30 of \u003ci\u003eSamuel Beckett Today\/Aujourd'hui\u003c\/i\u003e (2018), devoted to the poetics of bilingualism in Samuel Beckett. He has also translated into Spanish three novels and three separate short stories by Samuel Beckett. His translation of Stories and Texts for Nothing was awarded with the 2016 Best Translation Award given by the Spanish Association for Anglo-American Studies. He teaches Anglo-Irish literature in the Master's Degree in English Studies at the Spanish Distance Education University (UNED) and has been general editor of the journal \u003ci\u003eEstudios Irlandeses\u003c\/i\u003e. He has published articles on Beckett's work in a number of specialized journals, including the \u003ci\u003eJournal of Beckett Studies, Journal of the Short Story in English, Babel, Anglia, AUMLA\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eStudi Irlandesi\u003c\/i\u003e, among others. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMar Garre García is a doctoral researcher (Gerty Cori Fellow) at the University of Almería, where she combines teaching tasks with her doctoral dissertation on Samuel Beckett's poetry.
