There wasn't much to do, so I spent my time reading, writing short stories, and of course, because I'm a Hoosier, attending high school basketball games. I have a sister who is also a writer (Alexa Grace) and a brother who works for Purdue University. My other closest relatives are my Mom, two nieces, a nephew, and my husband. My Dad passed away in 1995. As I was growing up, we moved around a lot but always stayed in Tippecanoe County. My favorite house, which my parents rented for a year, was a Gothic-Victorian built in the 1870s. As a teenager, I loved to climb up to the tower room and write. In college, my favorite class was "Creative Writing". At that time, I wrote science-fiction stories until the professor pulled me aside and said I needed to write about what I know. This is what I have done in my three novels, "The Cats that Surfed the Web," "The Cats that Chased the Storm," and "The Cats that Told a Fortune."

Number of Pages: 272

Dimensions: 0.57 x 9 x 6 IN

Publication Date: July 31, 2014
