Front Jacket

Guy Kawasaki delivers a surprising and insightful collection of stories from his life. This book explains the key career insights that one can only accumulate by competing--sometimes winning and sometimes losing--in the trenches of Silicon Valley while working with Apple, Google, Wikipedia, Canva, and Mercedes-Benz.

Wiser Guy, his 16th book, aims to enlighten and inspire as it discusses everything from family to sports, humor, parenting, business, and more. The author explores how he took on new challenges and navigated surprising situations, including learning how to surf at age sixty and being mistaken for Jackie Chan and Robert Kiyosaki.

You'll learn about how Kawasaki got his first "real job" in the jewelry business, where he learned how to sell, as well as how he once told Steve Jobs, "That's okay, Steve, I don't trust you either." In this book, he covers the ethics and morality of doing business and moving through life while still taking the high road.

Perfect for young professionals, ambitious readers doing their best to advance their careers, managers, leaders, entrepreneurs, and founders, Wiser Guy is also a can't-miss resource for anyone with an interest in uncovering new opportunities (in business and in life), overcoming new challenges, and expanding their horizons.
