Anywhere from the Appalachian Mountains, to Tennessee, Kentucky, and Southern Missouri. Tara searched high and low for any older cookbooks that contained Ozarks recipes. As far back as the early 1800's to current day families shared their family recipes to Tara for this project of collecting some of the best Ozarks recipes around.
