Historically correct cannon carriages and wheels are particularly difficult to make and here are the tricks I learned to make and repair both wood and ironwork as the Cannon Carriage Maker at Colonial National Historic Park between 1999 and 2012. History is in the details and many are lost every day.
Worked as the Lead Exhibit Specialist of the Cannon Carriage Shop at Colonial National Historical Park from 1999 to 2012. Reversed engineered and researched the woodworking and blacksmiths techniques and processes to provide more historically correct reproductions. Prior to joining the Park Service in 1997 I was a Chief Gunner's Mate in the US Navy. During the same time I worked as a furniture restoration specialist to antique shops and private collectors up and down the east coast from 1992 to 2007. My interest in historic accuracy has been with me for most of my life. This book will help with some of the many details that the Masters and Journeymen just knew.

A small yet very thoughtful devotional book. A beautiful way to promote seeing God everyday in everything.
