Author Biography
Margot Silk Forrest is a professional writer and non-fiction editor. She is the author of the first edition of "Sassy Feet: How to Paint, Bead, Bedeck and Embellish Your Shoes" and "A Short Course in Kindness." She began teaching classes on "doing" shoes in 2007 and discovered that she loved teaching this new craft as much as she loved doing it.
Destiny Carter is a freelance graphic designer and award-winning artist who works in many different media, including pencil, pen and ink, acrylics, photography, sculpture, blown glass and graphic arts. Her artwork can be seen at www.destinycarter.com. She also has an etsy shop where she sells her hand-painted shoes, bags and apparel, and other witty handmade products.
Margot and Destiny's shoes have appeared in fifteen issues of
Altered Couture magazine. They operate the Sassy Feet website (www.sassyfeet.com), online store (http: //store.sassyfeet.com), and a blog full of amazing projects for altered shoes and handbags (http: //glittersweatshop.typepad.com.)
