For a brief period in early 2019, the author sat in Library corridors and sketched little known artefacts and objects. She captured reading room patrons and staff going about their Library business.

"This little book of illustrations is not a definitive guide to the Library. It is simply my idiosynratic attempt to showcase the spaces - some, like the book stacks, only accessible to staff members. But I've also tried to capture the qualities of the reading room, and all those people who use them.
