Author Biography

R. K. Fisher (1947-2008) was born in Stockton, New South Wales, Australia. He graduated as a BSc. (Honors) from the University of New South Wales, Australia at the age of 20, with a degree in Pure Mathematics. He graduated from Carlton University, Canada with a Ph.D in Pure Mathematics in 1972. His name was listed in "Who's Who Australia" in 1980. After long periods of travels, R.K Fisher spent the majority of his life between Australia and Asia. A lifelong history enthusiast, he started his work on Time Maps in 1996 until the time of his passing in 2008. Martini Fisher (1981- ) graduated as a BA from Macquarie University, Australia, with a degree in Ancient History. As a writer, her credits include "Wayang: Stories of the Shadow Puppets," a look at the ancient stories of Javanese creation myths from a traditional performing arts standpoint, and a novella, "Songs from a Mountain." Spending most of her time in Asia and Australia, Martini Fisher started her contributions for Time Maps in 2008, seeing it through to its completion.
