Author Biography

Erika Shershun, MA, LMFT, is a somatic psychotherapist who specializes in helping sexual trauma survivors reclaim the life they were meant to live. She is author of Healing Sexual Trauma Workbook and the PESI Sexual Trauma Clinical Training. Her approach is trauma-informed and rooted in somatic principles, drawing on neuroscience and integrative modalities such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), energy psychology, parts work, self-compassion, and mindfulness. Shershun values diversity, and offers individual online therapy sessions in California, in addition to providing coaching to clients outside of the state.
