Author Biography

Matt Ralphs (Author)
Matt Ralphs is a freelance writer of children's fiction and nonfiction. While working for many years as an editor, he helped other writers create novels, comics, and lavish art books. He lives on the Grand Union Canal in England on a boat he christened Nostromo because Alien is his favorite movie.

Kaley McKean (Illustrator)
Kaley McKean is a Canadian illustrator with a BDes in Illustration from the Ontario College of Art and Design. She has worked in children's publishing, editorial, packaging, advertising, and more. In her spare time, she can be found tending to her overgrown garden or hunting for mushrooms in the woods. Kaley currently lives with her partner and fellow illustrator, Nolan Pelletier, and an array of plants and animals in Toronto, Canada.
