Author Biography

William D. Drake (1922-1999) was a professor of English at the State University of New York, Oswego and retired to Berkeley, California. He was the editor of Mirror of the Heart: Poems of Sara Teasdale and author of The First Wave: Women Poets in America, 1915-1945.
