Author Biography
Jared James Grantham, M.D. was born in Dodge City, Kansas, and educated in Stanton County Community High School, Baker University and The University of Kansas Medical Center. An internationally recognized, award-winning physician scientist, he is University Distinguished Professor (emeritus) and Founding Director (emeritus) of The Kidney Institute at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Grantham has written or co-authored four books on renal disease and two children's books: "Ashley and the Mooncorn People" and "Ashley and the Dollmaker.
