She resists this idea, goes in search of other butterflies, and eventually discovers she is right. The story ends with a big butterfly celebration, and the reader can actually bring this to life for the child with the availability of a small fan and fifty beautiful paper butterflies that flutter lifelike from the book (obtained from a website that accompanies the book).
