by Jim Caple (Introduction by), David Hale Sylvester (Author)
The tragedy on September 11, 2001, killed many and hurt many more.
One of the people killed was David Sylvester's lifelong friend, and to make sense of that senseless moment and make the world a happier place, he jumped on his bicycle and began connecting with people.
Initially, David thought he was just going to bicycle across the United States.
But, after seeing how his story was inspiring and motivating others, he went on to bicycle Africa, Asia, and North America once more.
Now, ten years later, David shares his story.
Traveling at the Speed of life isn't a travelogue about what David saw on his bicycle trips. Instead, it's a memoir about how what he saw and experienced changed him and his outlook on the world.
Whether relaying stories of tragedy or triumph, David writes with a degree of honesty, humor, and passion that will make you smile and want to Travel at the Speed of Life too!
