Author Biography
Matt Demas is a Pittsburgh native and a horror author. He wrote short horror stories as a young child and didn't begin writing his first book until 2003. He began Steel City Outbreak (SCO) in 2003 and first published the title in 2007. After a long review of SCO 2007 and finding editing mistakes, large font, and complete poor quality of the book is when he re released SCO in 2009. Followed by 2 more installments, creating the Outbreak series, he came to realize that he was not making it anywhere with the publishing company. He grew to know that the publishing company itself was notorious and he could not succeed his books via Publish America. He then went on with SCO for a 3rd time along with his 3rd installment of the Outbreak series, Uprising the Outbreak (UTO). With the 2 installments, he created The Fall of Pittsburgh and was finally able to put it to rest. There is a feature length documentary that Matt Demas released, explaining the Outbreak series obstacles of publishing and released a double feature sequence under DZP, Revitalize the Outbreak (RTO). RTO holds SCO and Surviving the Outbreak (STO). It was created to still hold ownership of his writings while awaiting the publishing contract to expire via Publish America. After resting with The Fall of Pittsburgh, Matt Demas took the road to his own publishing trademark, Demon Zombie Projects (DZP). Matt Demas wanted to branch off on his own and no longer have to deal with the crooked side of publishers. He wanted to form his own trademark and start publishing his own writings. After a short rest he shot off his first DZP publication with a real, true life event of horror. Matt Demas wanted to do something different. He wanted to continue to write horror, but he wanted to move towards the side of a nonfiction writing. He wanted to create a story that could change peoples lives and that is why he created The Lake Bodom Blood Murders. He felt that he needed to write something that would have an impact on the readers. Matt Demas chose a true life, horrific event that is still highly spoken. He felt that if he wrote the story about the horrific event, it could get the attention it deserves and the people could open their minds up more to appreciate their lives being that there are people in the world who do such things and it could happen to anybody. The Lake Bodom Blood Murders is a story not written like any of the other books that were written on the case. This is 1 of a kind 100%
