At top U.S. law schools, a candidate's personal statement can help him/her to stand out in an increasingly competitive applicant pool. This publication presents 101 personal statements that enabled their authors to gain admission to the law school of their choice. By design, they include more than 20 different topics, including the candidates' goals, personal background, legal experience, notable accomplishments, contribution to diversity, international travel experiences, and motivation to become an attorney. After completing her Ph.D. at Kansas State University in 1987, Dr. Nolan pursued a career in academic and industrial research. Since 2000, she has been the President and CEO of IvyLeagueAdmission, which is one of the nation's most distinguished advisory services.
