Ralph E. Bowman (1946- ) was born in Poughkeepsie, NY and raised in Independence, MO. His primary interest has always been his family. His secondary interest is Chess, as a player, coach, tournament director & organizer, and author. He was a high school/community college teacher for 36 years. After retiring in 2009 he began writing.
