Robert 'Buck' Antle, a retired ophthalmologist, is a former Michigander who moved to Central Oregon in 1987 to enjoy the amenities of the area. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1942 and Wayne State Medical School in 1950. During the interim he served 39 months in the US Navy as a pharmacist mate.
