Georgianna Wood, known as Georgie, has always been interested in history, especially the history of Aravaipa Canyon in Arizona. She especially has enjoyed submitting her "Georgie Digs" articles in the Copper Basin News. What she has written in this book was learned through research and from events that had taken place before and during the years that she had lived along the western end of Aravaipa Creek in Pinal County, Arizona.
