Brenda Francis Shumate is a school nurse in Georgia. She has been in the nursing field for more than thirty years. She has four children and thirteen grandchildren. Brenda is an active member of her local church and serves as a short term missionary along with her husband and daughter. They have served on mission teams to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Zimbabwe. Brenda enjoys journaling and through her daily writings she was inspired to share the message in "A Day Without God" with others. She hopes it ministers the love of God to each reader as it has to her.
