Laura, the daughter of Charlie Harris, the librarian, temporarily leaves her acting career in Hollywood and returns to Athena to be an acting professor at the university. And with Laura comes the drama. Her ex, writer Connor Lawton, is almost as obsessed with the play he's writing as he is with Laura getting back together with him, which Connor's ex-girlfriend, Damitra, isn't willing to allow. The plot becomes even more complicated when Laura finds Connor's lifeless body. Miranda James es el seud?nimo de Dean James. Aficionada al misterio desde los diez a?os, escribi? su primera novela a la madura edad de doce. Actualmente es bibliotecaria en el Centro M?dico de Texas en Houston donde sigue publicando art?culos sobre temas de biblioteconom?a, historia de la ciencia/medicina y ficci?n de misterio. Dean vive con dos gatos j?venes, miles de libros y piensa con frecuencia en matar gente, pero solo en las p?ginas de ficci?n.
Miranda James is the pseudonym of Dean James. A mystery buff since the age of ten, she wrote her first novel when she was only twelve. She is currently a librarian at the Texas Medical Center in Houston where she continues to publish articles on the topics of library science, history of science/medicine, and mystery.
