by Michael G. Stevenson (Author)
This is the first of two volumes of original sources related to New Mexico's long road to achieving statehood, including several documents not readily available in print elsewhere. This first volume covers the period from 1846 to 1850, starting with the occupation of New Mexico by the American Army under General Stephen Kearny and ending with the Compromise of 1850. All sources are taken from original documents, some from text available on the internet and others from the original texts, scanned and digitized using optical character recognition. Proceeds from this publication will go to the Education Fund of the Historical Society of New Mexico.
Michael Stevenson is the current President of the Historical Society of New Mexico. He is a researcher and writer on the history of New Mexico.

A small yet very thoughtful devotional book. A beautiful way to promote seeing God everyday in everything.
