Author Biography

Emily Hunter Slingluff is a native Virginian, graduate of Sweet Briar College. After her marriage, she suffered several miscarriages and was afraid she would never be able to have a child. During that sad time, she started studying parenting, the actions of parents and the reactions from the children. She realized that the reactions were predictable. She did have two children and has been writing books and articles and appearing on radio and tv shows for many years. Thanks from parents has been overwhelming and appreciated by the author.
