Alyssa Walker Glosson attended Texas State Technical College, graduating with a Certificate in Dental Assisting in 1991. After spending a few years as a dental assistant, she returned to college to work towards a degree in dental hygiene. She received her Associate in Applied Science Degree for Dental Hygiene, graduating Cum Laude from Tyler Junior College in 1999. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist in Texas since 1999.
