Author Biography
Denis earned his living in small apartment ownership for over three decades. His current career as an author allows him to share these best practices for anyone looking to invest in real estate or become a small apartment landlord. Upon leaving the service and graduating from college, Denis embarked on a career that was as varied as his life experiences. Like many entrepreneurs, Denis J. LaComb started multiple businesses through the years; and real estate particularly appealed to him. It was during his thirty-plus years working fulltime in television, as well as managing his own video production/distribution business, that Denis became involved in real estate. Not just any real estate venture; but the purchase and management of small apartment buildings. With a full work load, his own thriving video business, and two small children demanding his time; Denis created a system that allowed him to operate his real estate business while working fulltime and still 'having a life.' Starting with just one five-unit building, he built a thriving portfolio of properties that practically ran themselves. Denis developed a set of management techniques that helped him allocate his time and avoid so many of the mistakes other real estate investors make. Denis has decided to share his experiences; successful and otherwise, with readers who might be interested in real estate investments. He has designed this apartment management guide to be realistic and practical with proven guidelines that greatly enhance the probability of success. Denis hopes this guide will help propel its readers toward achieving great success and profitability in apartment investment and management ... while still having a life.
