My story is one of how I built my dump truck waste hauling business up to a point where I felt I needed to purchase a packer type truck that had hydraulics on it that crushed all the material that was put into it. Containerization was taking place and I saw that as the wave of the future. The rest of the book is about the history of the publicly held corporation, SCA Services, that we became part of as a consolidation of the waste industry was taking place in the late 1960s.
