He father became a Diplomat for the State Department which in turn made Chiquita a Diplobrat. Her world-wide travels culminated with adventure, education, sprinkled with a little espionage and danger but also full of love and knowledge. She witnessed the beginning of WWII, and the angry obscenty ridden speech of Hitler. Chiquita was educated at world renowned boarding schools most famously the Brillantmont International School in Lausanne, Switzerland. She learned to speak several languages and was presented to King George VI along with the rest of the royal family in a luncheon ceremony.
