Author Biography

Rumjhum holds a degree in psychology and has been working in the field of Human Resources for over 12 years. Born and brought up in a small town near Mumbai that is famous for its ancient Shiv temple, she grew up listening to her Grandma narrating stories from Thakumar Jhuli-a must for every Bengali child. This awoke in her an intense love for children's literature. Her life took a turn with the arrival of her son and she further studied Early Childhood Care and Education (E.C.C.Ed.) and dabbles in the same. A mother of a fiery three-year-old with a love for stories, she now writes prose and poetry that are liked by both the young and their parents.
