Author Biography

Hi I'm Brian Heinz. and I live in Wading River, NY, on the north shore of Long Island. My mother came from Ireland and taught me to read before I was in Kindergarten. She fostered in me an early love of books and I was a prolific reader of juvenile novels by second grade. I think I gobbled up every dog and horse novel written, as well as biographies of people like Davey Crockett and Chief Crazy Horse.
