Months after her husband's death author Debbi Sylvester Jackson was trying to cope with the overwhelming grief of her loss. She picked up an empty journal that her grief counselor had given her. She began to write of her sadness but included the wonderful memories of their shared life. She showed her poetry to family and friends who encouraged the idea of creating a book.
