Daughterhood, growing pains, herbs and ecology. Alchemies, Arrivals is a chapbook that explores these themes and many more. It is a journey of young womanhood as something intertwined with the struggles and pains of the world. The individual and her environment(s) blend in palpable ways, and fierce femininity is a constant. In an age of climate injustice, global violence, and mounting social pressure, this speaker is aware of what is changing -- and how it changes her.
