Mallica Kumbera Landrus is the Keeper of the Dept of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean. Her other publications include Yoshida Hiroshi: A Japanese artist in India (Gossain, 2015), Bengal and Modernity: Early 20th century art in India (Gossain, 2015), Tradition, Trauma, Transformation: Representations of Women (Brown University, 2011) and M.F.
