Elizabeth Gurhtrie is a psychologist and leases an office in the Ionia County Sheriffs' Office, North Division, or I-SOND, where she's employed part time as their in-house counselor. She also works with the State of Michigan parole board and on an as needed basis with the FBI. She has a spooky way of being able to tell who is telling her the truth by reading faces. Her sister Tea is a deputy with the I-SOND department and together with the help of their family they work to solve the mystery of 'The Teacher.'
