by Henry Wyath Gurley (Author)

A novel imbedded in the South that is both compelling and intriguing in focus. "Whatever our true origins--there is a bit of 'Walkamile' in all of us. For those who would deny this as fact--they are, in the long run, the lesser for it. The admission of such an ownership is the inner heart of the Southern pathos in all of its intricate patterns. Thus, these adherents are, in the long run, the greater for it " (Henry W. Gurley)
