Aria, the world traveler, travels to France with her dog Daisy to visit her cousin Noelle. Aria visits the famous places in Paris with Noelle, Daisy, and Noelle's dog, Fleur. Aria and Noelle join a French cooking school to bake treats for an upcoming party. However, things do not quite turn out as they plan. Even though Aria fails twice, she does not give up and her persistence finally pays off. Aria's aunt and uncle surprise Aria and Noelle with a trip to Provence, where they enjoy fields of lavender and swimming in the French Riviera. Daisy and Fleur also have a blast of a time. This book series not only introduces children to other cultures, but also educates them about geography by having maps of the world, continents, and the country Aria visits.
Author Biography
Anna Kim was born in South Korea. She came to America when she was 12 years old. She received a B.S. degree in Computer Science from University of Southern California and an M.D. degree from University of Vermont. She is currently practicing ophthalmology in Seattle area. Aria the World Traveler: England is her first book. The second book in the series, France, is out on 6/25/2013. The third book in the series, China, will be out at the end of 2013.
