by Heinz Zobel (Author)
St. Louis artist and architect Heinz Zobel was born and bred in the Gateway City, a first generation American, and he has gathered together in this volume 57 pieces of his artwork, spanning his career and much of his life over more than 68 years. In addition to his architectural renderings and drawings, Zobel has created a wide variety of work, beautiful landscapes, fascinating buildings, places he's been and places he's only been in his head, working in watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, and in pen and ink. He has been married for thirty-four years to Joan Hildebrand Zobel, an illustrator and writer of children's books. He is blessed with four adult children, three adult stepchildren, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
