Stanley Lane Poole (1854 - 1941) was a British orientalist and archaeologist, and the author of a number of historical titles. Babar is the story of the founder of the Mughal Empire. Babar (also spelled Baber or Babur) lived from 1483 to 1530, and spread Islam throughout the Asian subcontinent.
