Violet Lemay is an award-winning author and illustrator whose children's books include

My Foodie ABC, and the Local Baby series that includes
New York Baby, Chicago Baby, Beach Babies, and
San Francisco Baby. Violet's illustrations have been published by Penguin, Holt, HarperCollins, McGraw-Hill, Scholastic, and Highlights. Violet currently lives in Auckland, New Zealand.
