Sebastien Braun was born in Strasbourg, France and graduated from Strasbourg University before he became an art teacher. He is the author-illustrator and illustrator of numerous children's books, including titles by Allan Ahlberg, Julia Donaldson and Sam McBratney. Braun lives in England.
