Backyard Wonder - Paperback

by Paddy Fievet (Author)

Sometimes the world can be overwhelming. World events, crises and the complications of life can distort one's view of the natural order of the world. Fortunately, it does not have to be that way if we pause and take in the little miracles of a yellow-throated warbler, a rhododendron's bloom or the footfalls of a curious rabbit. This collection is the result of a poet's recognition of life's journey and the majesty of the tiniest detail in nature, where "The real poetry lies through the glass doors / where daffodils shoot toward Spring / and acorns embrace oak tree potential" and "A new perspective blossoms in fragrant delight- / dancing in the sunshine, / meditating through the shadows / tendrils of Spirit growing in the Eden of my soul."

This book is for anyone who wants to pause and seek the divine presence and wisdom that can be found close to home, every day, in your own backyard.
