Vanessa Freerks is a post- doctoral fellow at the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (Bulgaria). Her main research interests revolve around consumer society, temporality, technology, and death denial in western society. She is currently a visiting scholar at the University of Brighton's Centre for Applied Philosophy, Politics & Ethics.
