This book of poetry is a year of meditations on the rhythms of the natural world by Mary Dudley. With an M.A. in American literature, Mary Dudley earned a second master's degree and a Ph.D. in early child development. She's written about and worked with young children, their families, and teachers for many years. She's published three chapbooks of poetry and her poems have appeared in a number of collections, including 22 Poems and a Prayer for El Paso, Zingara Poetry, Weaving the Terrain, Value, La Llorona, Sin Fronteras, Fixed and Free, Missing Persons, and the Poets Speak anthologies. A new poem is in press, to appear in a collection about the climate crisis (Foothills Publishing, fall 2020).
