"Becoming A Physician" is a collection of poems that follows a young doctor's journey through medical school classes and the wards, abroad to Tanzania in research on HIV, and through internship and early residency. It includes poems about the doctor-patient relationship, different diagnoses, and snapshot poems that capture a moment in time.
