"Over the past several years, both the hiking and the beer scene in Southern California have improved and expanded. It's great to have a guide that combines them both and spotlights lots of local favorites!"

- Casey Schreiner, author of Day Hiking Los Angeles and Discovering Griffith Park and founder and editor-in-chief of Modern Hiker

They say hiking is about the journey, not the destination--but sometimes the promise of a cold beer at the end of the day makes the journey even better. With Johanna Flashman's charming new trail-to-tavern guide in hand, you'll find your own perfect pairing between Southern California's natural beauty and its beloved breweries.

- Cameron Walker, author of National Monuments of the U.S.A
